Hi Dainis,

There is some good material in the lead-in-vid-im.mov movie!

You’re talking about bread and butter services that business really
need… lead magnet, lead gen, wordpress, email marketing, etc.
That’s all good.

I may have missed it, but I’m still looking for specifics on the target
market for these solutions (who are you going to sell your services
to?)

Video takes a long time!  Please let me know via email who you’re
targeting.

Yes, wouldn’t be cool if automatic transcription software did a good enough job for you to be able to fly over the text and pull out stuff and paste them into the appropriate “chunks” involved in an effective offer? Also, web video doesn’t fast forward that easily, and frankly, if you had a zippy video player, you could double up the speed of my vids and check through them quickly…does something like that exist?

Regarding who I’m targeting. In a sense, I’m targeting whoever you tell me to target…without that step from you…right now, I’m going with a “leave no stone unturned” campaign idea. I’m perfectly happy to have you add business types and niches. I worked late last night and stopped off at a bar where I know the owners. I met a guy who runs a disco and at least one restaurant. We got to talking and he kept buying me drinks and I kept talking IM. He said “show me the way, let’s do this…” He was pretty drunk and on the last day of his vacation. Lo and behold…the woman issues came out too…and his girlfriend may not be very good to or for him…

Anyway. Teach me how to close this guy.

I’m also perfectly happy to research niches while on our call…however…right now…I have this “be cool to everyone I know Frank Kern CCCP” type of deal envisioned.

You’re the boss here, Brian. That’s why I’ve been hammering you for guidance. I felt like I’d answered all your questions and didn’t really know what to do today, even yesterday and the day before…

So, today, I did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8ODC4YvZj0
…which, in a sense relates, because over at Wishlist Member Insider, we’ve had a very intense discussion about pricing, information products, what’s ethical to charge for, what “overdelivering” means etc. And in a sense, it might be that the right info came to me at the right time through Wishlist Insider…but really…I’m looking for clear tasks from you.

Also, again, the hierarchy I would like to model is “I’m working for you, Brian.” You’re the boss. You tell me what to do. If you don’t give me clear tasks, benchmarks, guidelines, etc., then I may do stuff not to your liking…I’d rather just do what you say…because I need the mental rest.

Is there a way you could provide that?

Best,
Dainis

    Hi Dainis,

“Mental rest” is an interesting (and, in my opinion, appropriate) expression
to use. There is SO MUCH NOISE surrounding your online efforts. We
need to go from scattered and random to LASER FOCUSED.

This is incredibly succinct and well-put:

What I think they need and would pay for:

    1) Online-Offline Business Integration = Virtual and Physical Business Integration
    2) List Management: tech solution and marketing consulting package
    3) Top search engine rankings, great lead magnets (and testing methods), list conversion strategies
    4) Solutions that range from pure coaching to “done-for-you” online biz implementation

For our call today, I have an exercise for you. I think it may be a bit of a
    challenge, but that’s important.

Would you please write out the skills, experience, and track record you
bring to the table for offline business owners?

I would like to see something extremely succinct that would make a
business owner say “man, that is exactly the kind of person I need to be
    working with.”

A HUGE part of this is understanding what’s important to the business
owner, and the real benefits they’re looking for.

    Thanks!
